Summary:
The Public Relations Officer will ensure successful implementation of public relations functions, and government public affairs and liaising with Government entities and Human Resources department to ensure work requirements are completed in an efficient and timely manner.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process, submits, renew and follow up all the company official relations/ transactions with the government sectors.
- Process, submits, renew and follow of visas, medical tests, QID & labor work permit cards with labor office as well as the immigration department.
- Keep records (copies) of personnel visas, passports, Qatar IDs, and other important documents.
- Monitoring exit permit applications and issue where required.
- Handling some stages of employee repatriation procedures.
- Process, submits, renew and follow up the driving licenses, vehicles insurance, vehicle registration cards & labor health cards with traffic office as well as the health department.
- Process, submits, renew and follow up the official documents of the company (i.e. trade license, chamber of commerce, CR, Company ID, traffic department, municipality, customs clearance etc.).
- To liaise with authorities to ensure Company compliance to local laws and regulations.
- To process local amendments in coordination with the authorities.
- To keep updated on labor related changes.
- Supporting any legal issues in Company registrations.
- Liaise with all government institution with regards fines, penalties or any inquiry.
- To perform such other related responsibilities as might be requested by the Coordinator of Personnel Services.
Skills:
- Working knowledge of Qatar labor regulations and governmental for authorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Ability to build strong relationships.
- Excellent communication and writing skills both in Arabic and English
- Extensive experience in Public Relations/Communications.
- Eye to details and acute organization skills.
