Key Result Areas:
- Develop and execute public relations strategies aligned with QF’s Communications framework, ensuring stakeholder engagement and the successful delivery of strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with Supervisor to design and implement comprehensive public relations programs that advance QF’s strategic objectives and enhance institutional reputation
- Lead the execution of high-impact public relations projects, ensuring strict adherence to strategic goals, timelines, and quality standards
- Ensure public communications consistently convey QF’s vision and mission, promote Qatar’s initiatives, and maintain brand consistency across all messaging channels
- Cultivate and enhance relationships with key stakeholders, leveraging strategic partnerships to foster collaboration and achieve mutual objectives
- Drive the continuous refinement of crisis communication strategies, ensuring alignment with QF’s Crisis Communication Plan and strengthening proactive risk management frameworks
- Collaborate with the Supervisor to develop policies, frameworks, and operational procedures that enhance efficiency and ensure alignment with strategic communication goals
- Establish and promote best practices in public relations, ensuring alignment with global standards and QF’s mission to advance its strategic objectives
- Manage stakeholder relations and foster collaboration across various teams to support QF’s objectives
- Provide strategic counsel to the Supervisor and QF Communications teams on executive communication matters, managing approvals and facilitating high-level cross-functional collaboration
- Deliver high-impact presentations to diverse audiences, ensuring that strategic messaging aligns with QF’s broader vision and goals
- Conduct forward-looking assessments of emerging trends, topics, and speakers, strategically positioning QF events and initiatives to enhance visibility and relevance
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Public Relations department, ensuring operational efficiency, high performance, and alignment with QF’s strategic priorities
- Work closely with Supervisor to develop business plans, performance metrics, and budget frameworks, conducting reviews and implementing corrective actions to ensure sustained excellence
- Collaborate with Supervisor in formulating the annual business plan, KPIs (key performance indicators), scorecards, and departmental budgets
- Provide support to Supervisor during the audit process and advise on corrective actions identified
- Conduct regular operational review meetings with the team to discuss task lists and report on the status of existing jobs and PR projects
- Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- 6-8 years of relevant full-time work experience in public relations, media, or communications in a large organization, 2 of which at a supervisory level
- Excellent team management skills, ability to think strategically, analyze data, and adapt to changing communications landscapes
- Excellent planning skills with the ability to establish priorities and complete multiple projects within deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal communication, customer service, negotiation, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to draft & edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
