Job Summary

Key contributor to the deployment and execution of all matters related to HC Quality Assurance. The incumbent will also assist the Head of HC Quality Assurance & Nationalization on Nationalization initiatives and programs.

Main Responsibilities

A. Shareholder & Financial:

  • Assists in setting and controlling the employee communications related budgets.
  • Assist in implementing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for performance monitoring and quality measurement purposes for employee communications.

B. Customer (Internal & External):

  • Follow-up on audit and compliance points raised on HC Departments and assist the AVP, HR Quality Assurance & Nationalisation to ensure timely closure on target dates.
  • Follow-up on SLAs performance across the HC Departments and report to Head on any concerns/deviations.
  • Assist the AVP, HR Quality Assurance & Nationalisation in conducting adhoc checking of data to ensure HRMS data quality.
  • Assist the AVP, HR Quality Assurance & Nationalisation in conducting the ISO Auditors role.
  • Supports in building and maintaining strong and effective communication flow with all departments to achieve the Group’s goals/ objectives.
  • Provides timely and accurate information to the external auditors and the compliance function, as and when required.
  • Assists with copywriting, editing and proofreading all marketing material.
  • Assists in the maintenance of corporate website and portal (intranet).
  • Assists in organizing company Staff related events.
  • Create staff awareness programs and events to get the employees involved and aware of HC products and services.
  • Develop/prepare HC quarterly News Letter for review of Head.
  • Develop an effective staff discount program

C. Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory):

  • Involve actively in follow-up process on closure of audit and compliance points raised with HC Departments.
  • Assist the ISO compliance process with all concerned in HC Departments.
  • Sets out the principles, methodology and techniques to establish effective internal communications.
  • Understands the delegation of authority matrix to facilitate the flow of internal communications within the Group.
  • Assist in ensuring internal all communications are consistent in terms of branding and strategic message.
  • Assist in the development of specific HC related communications and announcements.
  • Implement and maintain internal and external customer outreach and communications programs.
  • Create internal functions / promotional events or communications that will increase staff awareness on HC policies and provide strong value proposition for the employees.
  • Assists in the execution of internal communication programs aimed at facilitating inter-organization communication and enhancing internal stakeholder awareness with regards to Group HC policies, systems, practices, events.
  • Assists in the development of all internal communication material including newsletters and intranet material and refines and improves existing communication vehicles on an ongoing basis and ensure all communications are consistent in terms of branding and strategic message.

D. Learning & Knowledge:

  • Identifies areas for professional development of self and act to enhance professional development of self.
  • Actively participates in meetings which aim to assess individual as well as the department’s overall performance on a regular basis.

E. Other:

  • Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially and HC Policy related sensitive information.
  • Ensures consistent, accurate and effective use of QNB Brand in all communications.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Communications and Public Relations, Masters is a plus.
  • Minimum 6 years of HR or Audit experience out of which, a minimum 2 years with a Financial Institution in a HR role.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of media and industry analyst contacts.
  • High degree of initiative, self-starter, and ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Resilient, with the ability to work to deadlines and maintain high levels of professionalism under pressure.
  • Self-motivated, eye for detail.
  • Flexible team player and able to work and deliver under pressure.
  • Possess excellent computer skills with proficiencies in Adobe CS, Publisher, Illustrator, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office products, in a Windows environment.
  • Have strong knowledge of print production specifications.
  • Experience in web content management an asset.
