Join ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar as an IT Operator - Service Desk and become an integral part of our dynamic Information Technology and Services team. Based in Qatar, this full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity for professionals and job starters to advance their careers in IT. As an IT Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our service desk, providing technical support, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity, daily support.
- Monitor and manage IT service desk tickets, emails, and phone calls, ensuring timely response and resolution, on daily basis.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, service requests, and solutions in the service management system.
- Collaborate with IT teams to identify and implement process improvements for enhanced service delivery.
- Analyze & Provide Solutions and troubleshooting to any hardware Problems
- Monitor antivirus alerts and respond proactively to security notifications.
- Manage and maintain IT asset inventory.
- Oversee and support network and central printer infrastructure.
- Manage Workstation & vulnerabilities batches through End point Manage Engine
- Manage Active Directory tasks via AD Manager Plus (e.g., creating user attributes, managing/moving OUs).
- Provide Technical assistance and identifying Solutions & keeping up with development & knowledge in the Hardware.
We are seeking candidates with a blend of technical expertise and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years in IT support or service desk operations.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
- Experience with service management tools and ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with Endpoint ManageEngine and AD Manager Plus is a strong advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on providing high-quality service.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus.
- Fluency in English (reading and writing) is essential. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
