We are seeking a qualified Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer to oversee and implement safety protocols at our HIA project site. The HSE Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a culture of workplace safety among staff and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs at the site.
Conduct daily safety inspections, audits, and hazard identification.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and project-specific HSE requirements.
Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions to employees.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
Maintain accurate HSE records, logs, and reports for management and regulatory purposes.
Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and management to address safety concerns promptly.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred).
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably in construction, aviation, or facility management sectors.
NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent certification is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of Qatar HSE laws and international safety standards.
Good communication skills in English; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
