Roles & responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate vendors/suppliers, ensuring quality, pricing, and delivery standards are met.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers.
- Process purchase orders and requisitions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Conduct market research to identify new potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Coordinate with internal departments to forecast demand and ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
- Manage inventory levels in collaboration with the warehouse team.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
- Experience with procurement software and ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
- Valid QID, immediate joiner preferred
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
