Job Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced Storekeeper with an F&B background to manage and maintain inventory for a leading catering/hospitality operation in Messaid, Qatar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and properly store all food and beverage items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems.
- Issue materials based on requisition and ensure FIFO (First In First Out) principles.
- Monitor stock levels and notify procurement for reordering.
- Ensure proper hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards in the storage areas.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and physical inventory checks.
- Coordinate with the purchasing and operations team for smooth supply flow.
- Maintain documentation and logs of incoming and outgoing items.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Storekeeper in the F&B/catering/hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of food storage standards (dry, chilled, and frozen).
- Good knowledge of stock rotation and inventory control practices.
- Experience in using inventory software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or equivalent).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Must be based in Qatar with a valid QID and NOC.
- Ability to join immediately is an advantage.
