The Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales and business development of the Elevator/Escalator Division. This role involves identifying potential clients, understanding the needs, presenting customized solutions, and closing sales. The Sales Engineer will work closely with technical team to ensure the successful delivery of the material/completion of project, focusing on customer satisfaction, service excellence, and long-term relationships.
RESPONSIBILTIES
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and target new business opportunities in the
Elevator/Escalator industry.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective
clients through lead generation, networking, and market research.
Qualify leads, conduct site visits, and prepare
proposals tailored to the client’s requirements for new elevators and Annual Maintenance of any brand of elevators.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical)
Proven experience (7+ years) in sales, preferably in the Elevator/Escalator field
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in MS Office
Knowledge of local regulations and standards in Elevator field
Professional certifications in sales.
EXPERIENCE
1. Currently holds a Valid Qatar Driving License (Mandatory)
2. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience working Sales and Business development in Elevator Field
3. Experience in Qatar Market
4. Good information on vendors/service providers for Elevator/Escalators
5. Able to provide technical solution and allocation and budgetary forecasting and bench marking
6. Exposure to a multicultural environment
