Do you want to work on complex and pressing challenges—the kind that bring together curious, ambitious, and determined leaders who strive to become better every day? If this sounds like you, you’ve come to the right place.
Your Impact
As a key member of the Staffing and Professional Development team in our Doha office, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating the staffing process and supporting the professional growth of consultants across the Middle East Offices (MEO). Your responsibilities will include taking end-to-end ownership of staffing consultants, ensuring they are appropriately assigned to teams, and providing guidance on staffing matters. You will monitor each consultant's development and career progression, offering both formal and informal feedback related to their staffing and evaluations.
In collaboration with Partners and Associate Partners, you will gather detailed information on potential studies and staffing needs, recommending the best available team of consultants for each study while balancing team and individual requirements. You will manage the accurate entry of staffing-related information in relevant systems and maintain up-to-date consultant profiles. Additionally, you will liaise with Professional Development Managers in other regions to facilitate staffing assignments and coordinate with recruiting and learning departments regarding new hires and training needs. Your role will also involve working with the finance department on staffing-related billing arrangements and helping to create supply and demand forecasts for local client service professionals.
In the realm of professional development, you will coordinate processes and activities for MEO-based consultants, developing an understanding of their professional aspirations, strengths, and development needs. You will build trust-based relationships with consultants, providing counsel on specific assignments, skill development, and career progression. Your responsibilities will include coordinating evaluation and feedback processes, managing logistics, collecting materials, and supporting other professional development projects by identifying and contributing to process improvements.
As part of this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will develop professional relationships with consultants, gaining an in-depth understanding of their aspirations and needs. You will provide coaching and guidance on staffing, skill development, and career progression, managing information flow in our systems and participating in annual review cycles. Furthermore, you will build and maintain trusted relationships with office leadership to ensure effective staffing decisions that align with both client needs and consultant development goals. You will also engage in special projects related to people topics, collaborating with other MEO and regional teams.
