Job responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily logistics and operations activities to meet business objectives.
- Lead cross-border logistics operations, with a focus on land transport.
- Coordinate with transport providers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics processes and reduce costs
- Ensure all operations comply with local and international regulations.
- Supervise and mentor a team of logistics staff, including drivers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all logistics-related communications.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics/operations, with at least 3 years in cross-border logistics involving land transport.
- Proven track record in managing logistics operations in the GCC region or similar
- Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in ERP software and MS Office.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Hindi and Arabic is highly desirable.
- Must hold a valid Qatar driving license.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.
