Job Summary:
The Hygiene Trainer is responsible for educating and training F&B staff on hygiene practices, grooming standards, and effective communication to ensure a clean, safe, and professional working environment. This role ensures full compliance with local health regulations, internal SOPs, and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver structured training sessions on personal hygiene, food handling safety, sanitation, and grooming standards.
- Educate staff on effective communication etiquette in guest service and teamwork.
- Conduct routine refreshers and onboarding training for new hires in hygiene and grooming protocols.
- Monitor daily hygiene and grooming compliance across kitchen and service staff.
- Perform regular inspections and spot checks to ensure hygiene SOPs are followed.
- Assist in internal audits and help prepare for external health inspections.
- Maintain accurate training records and track certificate renewals (e.g., Food Handler Cards).
- Provide feedback and corrective action plans where non-compliance is identified.
- Develop training materials in line with HACCP and local food safety regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest hygiene trends, grooming expectations, and communication standards in the F&B industry.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Food Safety, Public Health, or a related field.
- Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, Level 3 Food Safety).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a hygiene or training role within the F&B or hospitality sector.
- Strong knowledge of F&B hygiene protocols, grooming guidelines, and communication best practices.
- Excellent presentation and training delivery skills.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to lead by example and influence staff behavior positively.
- Multilingual skills are an advantage.
