Fire Fighting Engineers Job Description for Maintenance
1. Planning & scheduling the quarterly / Monthly PPM Activities, notifying the property officials before a week to notify the tenants.
2. Flowing up of the scheduled quarterly / Monthly Planned preventive maintenance Activities by visiting the sites on a scheduled basis to ensure the PPM is being carried out as per NFPA standard & QCDD requirements.
3. Prepare and submit the PPM reports with comments and recommendations (if any) to the client after the completion of PPM Activities.
4. Submitting proposals for the comments found during PPM which requires extra materials for rectification and submitting work completion reports, invoices after the completion of rectification work.
5. Follow up with the procurement fir the creation of purchase order and with the suppliers for the earlier delivery of materials for the completion of rectification activities within the stipulated time.
6. Providing coaching to the technicians as necessary to improve their knowledge and to enhance the quality of PPM service.
7. Provides 24x7 on call responsibility for technical support and repair for AMC site problems and notifying any critical safety issues to their attention of maintenance engineering / management.
8. Review the possible causes of firefighting / fire alarm incidents happened, prepare technical reports, and plan an alarm abatement strategy. Communication result to require business groups.
9. Conduct awareness training to all tenants/caretaker of the property for elaborating the functionality of fire safety system in the buildings.
10. Preparing estimation and proposals complying with the client requirements for various enquiries such as tenders, job in hand project given by the business development team.
11. Consult with authorities to discussed safety regulations and to recommend changes, as necessary.
Fire Fighting Engineers Job Description for Project
1. Site coordination for the daily activities in the firefighting services.
2. Planning the Materials procurement as per the requirement.
3. Reviewing the technical specification, drawing and estimation of project.
4. Attending the site meeting to review the progress and the requirements with the consultant and the main contract.
5. Troubleshooting the firefighting system issues to make sure the performance complies with civil defence & NFPA standard.
6. Carry out site survey, field studies, design, proposals, and optimization.
7. Carrying out integrity test for the FM200 enclosure to check the structural integrity of enclosure.
8. Complete Design for Fire Fighting system for project.
9. Completed the acceptance testing and approval of commercial and residential building fire projection projects.
10. Implemented and reviewed the performance test for fire pumps, suppression system and sprinkler system.
11. Testing & Commissioning of Automatic fire fighting system, total flooding gas suppression system by FM200 & Novec.
12. Consult with authorities to discussed safety regulations and to recommend changes, as necessary.
13. Prepare & Review contract documents, submittals specification for code compliance and procedure for final approval.
***UPDA, QCDD approved and driving license is a must
