The Engineering Technician creates and maintains various reports and documentation. Conducts facility condition assessments. Creates and updates CAD drawings and other technical information as directed by the CE Functional/Operations Manager. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).
Principal Accountabilities
- Conducts BUILDER SMS facility condition assessments.
- Updates and maintains the BUILDER SMS database.
- Assists in updating real property data for GPMS sites within the program.
- Prepares various FMT/CE-related briefings, including Program Status Review (PSR) and Program Review (PMR) meetings.
- Produces special reports, as required by the CE Functional or Operations Manager.
- Collects data from various sources like Maximo and BUILDER SMS for inclusion in reports.
- May conduct and document construction and maintenance project inspections as directed.
- Manages electronic and hard copy filing systems.
- Assists with the creation and update of AutoCAD drawings.
- May travel to other GPMS sites within the program.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Works in normal office environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to understand, speak, read and write English at an advanced level.
- Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include as a minimum Power Point, Excel and Word programs.
- Must have technical background to receive AutoCAD, BUILDER SMS and Maximo training if not currently qualified.
- Must possess a valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license.
- May be required to work at exterior and interior locations throughout facilities in the program.
- Light to moderate lifting as required carried out in an office environment.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
