Key Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating daily activities within the engineering department.
- Maintain accurate records of engineering projects, schedules, and maintenance activities.
- Support project management tasks, including tracking progress and updating relevant documentation.
- Facilitate effective communication between the engineering team and other hotel departments.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of engineering materials and equipment.
- Assist in budget monitoring and expense tracking for the engineering department.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Assist in organizing training sessions and maintaining records of employee certifications.
- Handle administrative tasks, including drafting correspondence, attendance sheets and preparing reports.
- Support the implementation of health and safety protocols within the engineering department.
- Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the engineering team.
