Job description
Job Summary:
The BMS Operator is responsible for the continuous monitoring and operation of the Building Management System to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and safety of all building systems. This includes HVAC, lighting, power, fire alarm, and other integrated systems. The operator identifies irregularities and responds promptly to alarms, faults, and operational issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control building systems through the BMS interface (HVAC, lighting, electrical, fire systems, water pumps, etc.).
- Respond promptly to alarms and alerts generated by the system.
- Log and report system abnormalities and faults to the maintenance team or relevant departments.
- Perform routine system checks and escalate technical issues to BMS Engineers or Supervisors.
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians to ensure proper resolution of faults.
- Maintain logs, reports, and daily shift reports of system performance and incidents.
- Ensure the BMS is operating within design parameters and report deviations.
- Support energy-saving initiatives by identifying system inefficiencies.
- Assist during planned shutdowns or emergency procedures.
- Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in BMS operations or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of BMS software (e.g., Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider, Johnson Controls).
- Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of energy management principles.
- Familiarity with facility maintenance procedures.
- Computer literacy and ability to generate reports.

Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
