We are looking for a skilled BMS (Building Management System) Operator to monitor, control, and maintain building automation systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient operation of HVAC, lighting, electrical, fire safety, and other facility systems using the BMS platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control the Building Management System (BMS) for HVAC, lighting, electrical, and security systems.
- Respond to alarms and system alerts, diagnosing issues and taking appropriate corrective actions.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of BMS-controlled equipment.
- Adjust system settings to optimize energy efficiency and performance.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams, engineers, and vendors for repairs and system upgrades.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation of system operations and incidents.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to BMS.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational regulations.
- Assist in training staff on BMS operations and best practices.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a BMS Operator or a related role in facility management.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with BMS software such as Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls, etc.
- Understanding of building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, etc.).
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond to emergencies efficiently.
- Basic IT knowledge and ability to troubleshoot software and network issues.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field (preferred).
