Roles & responsibilities:
- Issue RFI for the completed works.
- Liaise with Client QC inspectors for timely completion of inspections.
- Conduct inspection of civil works such as concrete, rebar, formworks, earthworks,
- excavation, backfilling, and infrastructure as per project specifications and standards.
- Monitor and record the execution of civil works to ensure compliance with approved
- drawings, project specifications, and QCS/ASTM/BS standards.
- Review and verify materials, methods, and workmanship.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, daily logs, and quality records.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits when required.
- Identify non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with client representatives, consultants, and third-party inspectors on
- inspection requests.
- Verify work compliance prior to requesting client inspections.
- Assist in preparing Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and other QC
- documentation.
- Ensure all quality control documentation is complete and up to date.
- Participate in final walk-downs, punch list activities, and project close-out reports.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of total experience, with 4–5 years in Oil & Gas projects in Qatar.
- Sound knowledge of QCS (Qatar Construction Specifications), international codes and
- standards (ASTM, ACI, BS, etc.).
- Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 standards and QA/QC procedures.
- Experience in reviewing drawings, ITPs, and technical submittals.
- Valid QID and ability to work in Qatar (preferably with NOC or transferable visa).
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Certification from a recognized body (e.g., CSWIP, ISO 9001 Auditor) is an advantage.
