Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer – Aluminum & Façade to join our operations in Qatar. The successful candidate will manage the technical, logistical, and executional aspects of aluminum and façade system projects from design through installation. This role involves close coordination with clients, consultants, suppliers, and on-site teams to ensure project success. A valid Qatar driving license is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all technical activities for assigned aluminum and façade projects.
- Review and interpret architectural drawings, structural designs, and project specifications.
- Develop, monitor, and manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to meet deadlines.
- Ensure quality assurance by enforcing compliance with client requirements, local codes, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, site supervisors, and internal departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Supervise on-site installations, addressing any operational or technical issues promptly.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, reports, and progress updates.
- Assist in material procurement and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of project materials.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, enforce safety protocols, and maintain quality control.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to subcontractors and site execution teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in aluminum and façade projects in the GCC, ideally in Qatar.
- In-depth knowledge of façade systems, including curtain walls, ACP cladding, structural glazing, louvers, and skylights.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Familiarity with Qatar building codes, safety regulations, and industry quality standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
- Able to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Valid Qatar driving license is mandatory.
