Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Civil Engineer with at least 7 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, or engineering consultancy. The candidate must hold a valid UPDA/MMUP license in Qatar and demonstrate strong technical expertise, site supervision skills, and a thorough understanding of local codes, standards, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor civil construction projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure project work complies with Qatari regulations, engineering standards, and client requirements.
- Prepare, review, and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
- Manage site execution, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, and clients regarding design changes or project issues.
- Prepare progress reports, documentation, and project updates for stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and QHSE policies.
- Review material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Valid UPDA/MMUP License (Grade C, B, or A) in Qatar (must).
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in civil/structural works (buildings, infrastructure, roads, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, site coordination, and local authority procedures.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software (e.g., Primavera or MS Project).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Valid Qatar Driving License preferred.
