Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Technician (Kitchen Equipment & AC Maintenance) to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of our kitchen appliances and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, ensuring safety and operational efficiency at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of kitchen equipment (e.g. ovens, refrigerators, exhaust hoods, dishwashers, etc.)
- Maintain and service air conditioning systems (split type, centralized units, etc.)
- Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and perform timely repairs
- Coordinate with the kitchen and facility teams for scheduled maintenance
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Keep records of maintenance and repair work completed
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Respond to emergency repair requests promptly and efficiently
- Provide recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements when needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or technical/vocational training certificate
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in kitchen equipment and/or AC maintenance
- Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration
- Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to work in hot and confined environments
- Reliable, honest, and able to work with minimal supervision
