With the strategic rapid growth of our luxury brands in Qatar at IHG Hotels and Resorts, we are looking for a seasoned Stewarding Supervisor with luxury and lifestyle brand hotel experiences to join our team in Doha.
Just a stone’s throw from the many favourite sights of the Qatari capital, the hotel will welcome guests and locals to experience its 283 guest rooms, including suites and serviced apartments, and to enjoy a multitude of unique dining options.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
- Engages in and assist the cleaning of kitchen and equipment
- Assist the receiving and storage of kitchen goods
- Assist the handling of kitchen linen • During the shift, oversees the preparation of kitchen equipment for use
- Responsible for assisting the stewarding operation during shift and for cleaning and maintaining food and beverage premises to high hygienic standards
- Assist the cleaning and storage of kitchen equipment
- Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures
- Assist the cleaning of a hygienic kitchen
- In absence of Chief Steward or Stewarding Supervisor conducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known
- Supervises all functions of the Stewarding operation to achieve the optimum departmental costs
- Assist the removal of waste
- Maintains high levels of personal hygiene for self and enforces hygiene standards for team
- Supervises the cleaning of the premises

- Experience in a luxury and lifestyle hotel
- Possess good communication skills
- Possess good leadership skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
