Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Senior Project Engineer – Aluminum & Façade to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will manage and oversee façade and aluminum system projects from design coordination through execution and handover. This role demands strong technical expertise in curtain wall systems, cladding, architectural aluminum, and windows/doors, as well as effective communication and leadership skills to coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of façade and aluminum system projects, ensuring technical compliance and timely completion.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to align project objectives and resolve any design or site issues.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality installation, and troubleshoot engineering challenges on-site.
- Supervise installation teams and ensure strict adherence to safety standards, quality benchmarks, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely delivery and fabrication of façade elements.
- Track and report project progress, budget adherence, and KPIs to the project manager and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar Construction Standards (QCS) and relevant international façade engineering norms.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 8+ years of experience in façade and aluminum system projects, with at least 3 years in a senior project engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of curtain wall systems, ACP cladding, spider glazing, doors & windows, and aluminum fabrication techniques.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other relevant design and project management tools.
- Familiarity with local construction practices and façade system installation standards.
- Valid Qatari Driver’s License is mandatory.
