We are seeking an experienced Site Logistics Coordinator to manage and oversee all site logistics activities for ongoing building construction and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in coordinating logistics on active construction sites, ensuring smooth material handling, deliveries, site access control, waste management, and effective communication between site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement site logistics plans in coordination with project and construction managers.
- Plan and coordinate the movement, storage, and delivery of materials, tools, and equipment across the site.
- Manage site access, including security arrangements, delivery scheduling, and traffic control.
- Oversee offloading zones, laydown areas, and ensure clear routes for internal logistics.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials as per project schedules.
- Monitor site waste management and housekeeping to ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
- Maintain detailed logs and reports of deliveries, material usage, and logistics performance.
- Communicate daily with site engineers, storekeepers, and project managers to align logistics support with ongoing activities.
- Ensure that logistics operations align with local regulations, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Proactively identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to minimize site disruptions.
- Coordinate temporary infrastructure installations such as fencing, storage units, scaffolding routes, and welfare facilities.
- Support fit-out sequencing and logistics planning in high-specification interior works.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in construction logistics coordination, with direct involvement in building and fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of site logistics management, including material handling, scheduling, and site flow optimization.
- Experience working on medium to large-scale construction and interior fit-out projects.
- Familiar with local regulations, logistics challenges, and safety procedures in KSA (preferred).
- Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office tools and familiar with basic project management software.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schedules.
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Locally available in Saudi Arabia or willing to relocate with immediate availability.
Preferred Candidate:
- Candidates already based in Saudi Arabia with transferable IQAMA are highly preferred.
- Immediate joiners or those with short notice periods.
- Prior work experience with international contractors or reputed fit-out companies is an advantage.
