We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer with expertise in design drawing development, architectural/structural modeling, and rebar detailing and estimation. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in building estimation, concrete quantity surveying, and formwork design for all concrete members. This role requires proficiency in preparing detailed views, including plans, sections, and elevations. Candidates should have extensive experience in designing concrete structures and a proven track record of working with regional and international offices. Proficiency in SAP2000, ETABS, and SAFE is essential. The position demands a minimum of 10-20 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in the GCC region.
Key Responsibilities:- Design Drawing Development:
- Create and develop comprehensive design drawings for structural projects.
- Ensure drawings meet high standards of accuracy and detail.
- Architectural/Structural Modeling:
- Develop detailed architectural and structural models using industry-standard software.
- Ensure models are precise and adhere to project specifications.
- Rebar Detailing and Estimation:
- Provide detailed rebar detailing for various concrete structures.
- Perform accurate rebar quantity estimations to support project planning and budgeting.
- Building Estimation and Concrete Quantity Survey:
- Prepare detailed building estimations, including materials, labor, and associated costs.
- Conduct thorough concrete quantity surveys to optimize resource utilization.
- Concrete Formwork Design:
- Design efficient and safe formwork for all concrete members.
- Ensure formwork designs meet structural requirements and project specifications.
- Preparation of Detailed Views:
- Produce detailed plans, sections, and elevations for all project phases.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure views are accurate and comprehensive.
- Design of Concrete Structures:
- Utilize expertise to design robust and efficient concrete structures.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Collaboration with Regional/International Offices:
- Work closely with regional and international teams to ensure project consistency and quality.
- Adapt designs to meet the specific needs and standards of different regions.
- Software Proficiency:
- Utilize SAP2000, ETABS, and SAFE for structural analysis and design.
- Ensure software tools are used effectively to enhance project outcomes.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience:
- 10-20 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working in the GCC region.
- Extensive experience in working on regional and international projects.
- Skills and Competencies:

- Strong analytical and estimation skills.
