What you will do
The Sales Engineer – Security systems is a key role reporting directly to Branch Manager – HVAC, Controls & Security systems.
Based in Qatar, the role shall emphasize in bringing in business through AMC contracts, L&M jobs, retrofit jobs and spare parts sales and driving the growth of business for Aftermarket division segment for Building Technology and Solutions with particular focus on Security system portfolios.
As a member of the self-driven team, you will work within an environment that provides a platform and resources for you to learn and use your experience to generate new business.
How you will do it
As a Sales Engineer, you will use your experience and knowledge of the Security systems market to forecast and develop an annual sales plan, exploring market opportunities, developing and implementing strategies and processes to maximize margins while increasing market share, and you will;
- You will have an understanding and knowledge of our product portfolio among Security solutions and you will work closely with the customers to meet their expectations in order to close the new opportunities.
- You will qualify and work closely along with our internal pre-sales expertise to have the right techno-commercial solutions for the projects with customers
- Prepares technical and commercial proposals for the customers and direct tenders.
- You will demonstrate your expertise by differentiating Johnson Controls, leveraging your market understanding, sales strategies, products and services.
- Develops and maintains long-term relationship with the customers and identifies ways to anticipate customer needs.
- You are determined and consistent in your approach to work in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously by planning and time management skills.
- You will adhere to company processes, compliances and policies, with zero tolerance, while executing professional responsibilities.
What we look for
Required
- University Degree – Bachelor’s in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in selling Maintenance & Service contracts specifically for Security systems business within Qatar region.
- Strong knowledge of Physical Security Systems (CCTV, Access Control System, Thermal Camera System, LPR, Perimeter Intrusion Detection System, and associated network infrastructures).
- Proven track record of achieving sales within the Qatar market.
- Customer focused and ability to build relationship with customers.
- Organization skills and ability for multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment.
- Determined, results and self-driven, maturity and high team spirit are essential qualities to succeed in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Valid Qatar Driving License
