- Review and approve materials proposed by contractors in accordance with Ashghal and project specifications.
- Evaluate material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation for completeness and compliance.
- Supervise on-site and off-site material testing and monitor results to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, QA/QC teams, and client representatives on all material-related matters.
- Conduct site inspections to verify proper handling, storage, and installation of approved materials.
- Maintain accurate records of material approvals, test results, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Ensure full compliance with QCS 2014, Ashghal requirements, and all regulatory standards.
- Assist in resolving material-related issues and recommend alternative solutions when needed.
- Provide technical support to the construction team regarding the selection and application of materials.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 7 years on Ashghal or major infrastructure projects in Qatar.
- Strong knowledge of QCS, Ashghal standards, and international material specifications.
- Experience in working with contractors, consultants, and third-party testing labs.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
