We are seeking a proficient Procurement Officer (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering background) to join our Qatar office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to evaluate and interpret technical specifications for mechanical products as per project requirements.
- Ensure procured products meet quality, functionality, and technical standards in alignment with client needs.
- Assess technical specifications and provide recommendations to meet operational demands.
- Provide technical expertise to ensure compliance with industry and client standards.
- Support the tender process by conducting technical evaluations and delivering insights.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in procurement, including a mandatory 3-4 years of GCC experience in oil & gas sector.
- Expertise in procurement processes for mechanical materials and equipment.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize effectively
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
