KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead Operations teams to become high performing teams with a culture centred on delivering outstanding performance against existing and new contracts.
- Responsible for the financial performance of Contracts.
- Provide leadership of, mentoring and guidance to Operations personnel responsible for individual and team performance management and ensure that the team has adequate resources to carry out its functions.
- Ensure that each site complies with, and achieves, all the contractual and performance obligations under the relevant contract/s.
- Ensure that all Asset management and Maintenance activities are completed within the required agreed timeframes and within budget.
- Provide high level operational input to support and facilitate capital projects from design to commissioning to ensure operational standards are maintained.
- Ensure that Acciona broad objectives and policies in relation to Quality, Safety and Environmental Management Systems are successfully implemented and ensure that the Operations Team is engendered with a safety-first culture.
- Ensuring that systems are in place to communicate effectively to all staff to meet objectives.
- Manage the interactions and stakeholder management of any Joint Venture (JV) partner, parent management organisations, clients and consultants and provide support as appropriate.
- Assist and support in the preparation of submissions and reports to the relevant Government agencies and regulators.
- Ensure effective performance management of all activities and projects across assets.
- Maintain harmonious and effective relationships with all stakeholders associated with Acciona contracts.
- Assist the Regional Manager to develop strategic plans for Operations and implement strategies as required.
- Ensure the delivery of all management plans and associated setup activities are completed on time and in full.
Required Skills and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications &/or Skills:
- Degree in Engineering, Mining, Heavy Industry or equivalent
- High attention to detail
- Strong to Advanced Excel.
Minimum Experience: - 15+ Industry experience
- Experience in working closely with large and diverse project teams.
- Proven ability to strategically identify new business opportunities that positively impact commercial growth
