Mid. Contractor Special Security Officer

Prescient Edge is seeking a Mid. Contractor Special Security Officer to support a federal government client.

Desired experiences:

• At least four years of experience in compartmented programs utilizing Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and Joint Clearance and Access Verification System (JCAVS).
• Developed SCIF Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Action Plans (EAPs).
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints/drawings to ensure facilities meet security requirements.
• Experience evaluating and processing approvals/accreditations for Tactical SCIFs (T- SCIF), Secure Working Areas (SWA), and Temporary Secure Working Areas (TSWA) in a non-traditional environment to perform critical contingency tasks.
• Thorough familiarity with all security clearance processes.

Desired education:

• Associate degree or four years of experience applying security standards that apply to SCI Facilities (SCIFs) as outlined in Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, Intelligence Community Standard (ICS) 705-1, IC Tech Spec-for ICD/ICS 705, and DoD Manual 5105.21 Volume 1-3.

Highly desired education and experience:

• Associate or bachelor’s Degree.
• Deployment experience in Iraq or Afghanistan or equivalent experience preferred.
• Completed Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 Physical Security course (or equivalent).
• Completed Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) SSO course (or equivalent).

Security Clearance:

• Security clearance required TS/SCI.
