Job Purpose:
To drive sales growth by identifying new markets, acquiring new customers, and promoting FMEG (Fast-Moving Electrical Goods) and mechinaries (electrical tools, equipment, and machinery) through strategic field sales, dealer engagement, and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, and develop new markets and customer segments for FMEG and mechinaries.
- Visit construction sites, retail shops, hardware stores, electrical outlets, and industrial zones to generate leads and close deals.
- Promote product features, benefits, and applications to clients and distributors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, electricians, contractors, and resellers.
- Execute sales promotions, schemes, and campaigns to drive product movement.
- Collect market intelligence on pricing, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
- Meet monthly sales targets and reporting requirements.
- Assist in setting up displays, conducting demos, and distributing promotional materials.
- Coordinate with internal teams for timely delivery, stock planning, and customer support.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in field sales, preferably in FMEG, electrical, or industrial product lines.
- Strong knowledge of electrical/mechanical products like cables, switches, lighting, motors, power tools, etc.
- Field-oriented with a proven ability to open new accounts and build sales pipelines.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively.
