Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Home Care Manager/Administrator to oversee and manage the operations of our home care services. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in managing home care services, a solid understanding of healthcare regulations, and strong leadership skills. You will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of care, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home care service, ensuring smooth delivery of care to clients.
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care and efficiency.
- Ensure that services are provided in a timely, compassionate, and effective manner according to the client's care plan.
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise home care staff, including caregivers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Create and implement training programs for staff on various aspects of care, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to ensure a high level of care and service delivery.
- Client Care and Satisfaction:
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality care that meets or exceeds client expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Perform client assessments and develop tailored care plans based on individual needs.
- Regularly assess and review the care provided to clients, making adjustments as needed to maintain satisfaction and quality of care.
- Address and resolve any concerns or complaints from clients or their families in a professional and timely manner.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, and standards for home care services.
- Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and reports as per the legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and maintain accurate scheduling and billing records for services provided.
- Stay updated on current healthcare policies, regulations, and best practices in home care.
- Financial Management:
- Assist in the development and management of budgets for home care services.
- Ensure that services are provided within the financial parameters, keeping costs in line with the budget.
- Monitor and manage payroll for caregivers and administrative staff, ensuring proper compensation according to the hours worked.
- Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor care quality through regular audits, feedback surveys, and other mechanisms.
- Implement improvement plans based on feedback, performance evaluations, and industry standards.
- Develop and lead initiatives for quality improvement in service delivery and client care.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Maintain regular communication with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies involved in the client's care.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for family members and healthcare professionals concerning client care.
- Coordinate with doctors, medical professionals, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for each client.
Requirements:
- Education:
- A degree or certification in healthcare, nursing, or related field preferred. Additional training in home care management or administration is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working in home care services, with at least 2 years in a managerial or administrative role.
- Proven track record of managing teams and coordinating healthcare services in a home care setting.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, families, and staff.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, and industry best practices.
- Ability to assess clients’ needs and develop effective care plans.
- Knowledge of scheduling, payroll systems, and client billing practices.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and care.
- Certifications:
- Relevant certifications in healthcare administration, nursing, or home care management may be required or preferred.
- Language Skills:
- Proficiency in [English/Arabic]
