Job Description
- To ensure that a high quality and prompt laundry service is delivered to the Guest at all times.
- To check the Guest garments prior to processing.
- To report any stains or damages on Guest garments to the relevant authority prior to processing.
- Check all the guest garments and tag to be done in marking the machine.
- Use correct method and formula for Guest Laundry wash process.
- Dry cleaning items should be thoroughly checked and stains to be removed before putting into the dry cleaning machine.
- Make sure all the guest laundries are packed properly before delivery to the Guest.
- To maintain high quality presentation of garment prior to delivery.
- Sort out all soiled linens into different wash load.
- Ensure that the policies and procedures of hotel and laundry department are followed.
- Work with precision in order to give the best results and good quality of work.
- Manage proper care of flat iron being used.
- Feed food & beverage linen to the flat iron.
- Fold bed sheets and towels as per hotel standards.
- Responsible when assigned to perform any other duties by Superiors.
Qualifications
Prior experience in laundry services preferred but not required
Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 25 kg) and stand for long periods
Attention to detail when handling fabrics and chemicals
Familiarity with washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment
Good time management skills to meet daily targets
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the work area
Ability to work well in a team
Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
Basic communication skills to understand instructions
