Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Interlock Supervisor to oversee the installation, maintenance, and quality of interlock paving and hardscape works on our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in interlock/paving, team leadership experience, and must hold a transferable visa.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise all activities related to interlock block paving, curbstone, tiles, and other external hardscape works.
- Ensure execution of work as per project specifications, drawings, and timelines.
- Inspect ongoing and completed work for quality, safety, and compliance with standards.
- Coordinate daily tasks and allocate workforce accordingly.
- Supervise equipment and machinery usage related to interlock installation.
- Maintain inventory of materials and request supplies as needed.
- Liaise with site engineers, project managers, and clients.
- Enforce safety procedures and ensure all workers follow health and safety regulations.
- Prepare and submit daily progress reports.
- Conduct toolbox talks and on-site training for workers.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, if applicable.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in interlock/hardscape construction or supervision.
- Knowledge of various types of paving blocks, kerbstones, bedding materials, and laying techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage teams and work under pressure.
- Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must have a transferable visa.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or certification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (optional but preferred)
- Local driving license is an advantage
- Any Nationality
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR22.11 - QAR26.63 per hour
