Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Assistant Manager (preferably under 30 years old) who will be responsible for managing the company’s financial accounts, while also supporting operations, store control, and HR-related activities. The ideal candidate must be proactive, organized, and capable of multitasking across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Financial Management
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure accuracy of ledger entries, bank statements, and journal postings.
- Support cash flow tracking, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
- Monitor and enforce internal financial controls and compliance with company procedures.
2. Operational & Administrative Involvement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations across projects.
- Assist in operational planning, project costing, and tracking of financial performance on contracts or jobs.
- Generate financial data and dashboards for management review.
3. Store & Inventory Oversight
- Monitor and manage stock movement, inventory levels, and reconciliation between accounting and physical stock.
- Ensure all inventory purchases and usage are properly documented and approved.
- Coordinate with storekeeper to maintain updated inventory records.
4. HR & Payroll Support
- Handle payroll calculations and assist in the monthly payroll processing.
- Maintain confidential employee files including salaries, benefits, and attendance.
- Support in recruitment logistics, onboarding documentation, and compliance tracking.
- Assist in tracking leave balances, visa renewals, and other HR-related procedures.
5. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain proper documentation of all financial records, receipts, and contracts.
- Assist in preparing audit documentation and liaising with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial laws, VAT submissions, and reporting requirements.
6. Communication & Coordination
- Work closely with management and external stakeholders (banks, clients, vendors).
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure smooth financial and administrative operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or Zoho Books)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Age preference: Below 30 years
- Ability to multitask and handle confidential information responsibly
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 36 months
Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
