As a Sales ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Engineer at Total Design Technology, you will be responsible for driving sales and achieving targets related to the sale of ELV products and services. ELV encompasses a range of low voltage systems, including but not limited to, security systems, access control, Intercom, CCTV system SMATV/IPTV and PA systems, and home automation.
Responsibilities:
Quotation Preparation: Prepare accurate and competitive quotations based on customer requirements, project specifications, and pricing guidelines. Ensure timely submission of quotations to potential clients.
Order Acquisition: Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to generate sales leads and secure orders. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling ELV products and services. Proactively follow up with clients to close deals and acquire orders.
Sales Target Achievement: Set and achieve sales targets aligned with company objectives. Develop and implement effective sales strategies, tactics, and action plans to meet or exceed assigned targets.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders in the industry. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Market Research: Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to ELV products and services. Analyze market demands and identify potential business opportunities .
Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of ELV product portfolio, features, benefits, and applications. Stay informed about the latest advancements and emerging technologies in the ELV industry.
Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as project managers, engineers, and technical support staff to ensure smooth execution of projects and successful delivery of products and services to customers.
Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant documentation as required by management. Provide timely updates on sales activities, achievements, and challenges.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales or business development within the ELV industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of ELV systems and their applications.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Results-driven mindset with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with project management principles is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English.
