Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and Design Coordination
- Review and interpret civil and structural drawings, specifications, and standards (e.g., API, ACI, BS, ASTM).
2. Site Preparation and Earthworks
- Supervise and inspect site grading, excavation, and compaction operations.
- Ensure soil stabilization, dewatering, and drainage systems are installed per geotechnical recommendations.
- Manage access roads, temporary facilities, and infrastructure setup.
3. Structural and Foundation Works
- Oversee construction of foundations for process equipment, tanks, pipelines, buildings, and structures (e.g., pile foundations, raft foundations, etc.).
- Monitor installation of concrete and steel structures (pipe racks, equipment platforms, substations, etc.).
- Conduct formwork, reinforcement, and concrete placement inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
4. Construction Supervision and Execution
- Monitor daily civil construction activities on-site and ensure adherence to approved construction methods and procedures.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure they follow quality, schedule, and safety standards.
- Resolve on-site engineering issues and interface with project engineers and consultants.
5. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
- Enforce site safety protocols and ensure civil works comply with oil & gas HSE requirements.
- Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), risk assessments, and toolbox talks related to civil construction activities.
6. Quality Assurance / Quality Control
- Conduct inspections and tests for civil works (e.g., compaction testing, concrete strength, rebar placement).
- Ensure compliance with quality control plans, ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), and project specifications.
- Maintain and verify construction records, test reports, and inspection checklists.
7. Project Management and Coordination
- Track civil construction progress and ensure alignment with project schedules and milestones.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics for delivery of civil materials (cement, rebar, aggregates, formwork, etc.).
- Report construction status, risks, and deviations to the project manager or construction lead.
8. Documentation and Handover
- Prepare as-built drawings, red-line markups, and civil construction documentation for final handover.
- Support pre-commissioning and mechanical completion processes for civil scope.

- Provide input during design stages to ensure constructability, cost-effectiveness, and safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, piping, electrical) to integrate civil works with overall project requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
- Familiarity with oil & gas standards (API, ACI, ASTM, ISO, ASME, etc.).
- Experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects.
- Tools: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, MS Project, Primavera, and standard QA/QC checklists.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle in oil and gas: FEED, EPC, commissioning.
- Minimum 10-12 years of working experience in construction project required
