Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an exceptionally talented Assistant Project Manager to join our team!
In this role, you will support the Project Manager in coordinating daily site operations, managing deliverables, and ensuring effective communication across all stakeholders. You will play a vital role in driving project execution, resolving technical issues, and contributing to successful project outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Assisting the Project Manager in daily construction oversight and progress monitoring.
Coordinating between engineering disciplines, contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
Managing project documentation, tracking deliverables, and maintaining accurate correspondence.
Supporting the resolution of technical issues, review of submittals, and timely RFI responses.
Liaising with local authorities to ensure compliance with construction regulations and procedures.
Leading coordination of specific project zones or components such as podiums and towers.
Overseeing site activities related to snagging, handover, and post-completion processes.
Preparing reports, schedules, and updates to support project controls and decision-making.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
Strong coordination skills across technical and contractual aspects of construction projects.
Excellent organizational and communication capabilities to manage diverse project tasks.
Ability to lead teams, resolve on-site challenges, and drive collaboration among stakeholders.
Sound understanding of local construction procedures, permitting, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in digital collaboration tools, project documentation, and reporting systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in Qatar.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
Hands-on experience in podium and tower construction management.
Familiarity with post-handover activities, including snagging and final inspections.
Exposure to high-rise developments and multidisciplinary coordination on large-scale projects.
Experience working within digitally enabled construction environments (e.g., BIM, project portals).
