About Parkview Pet Center
Parkview is a fast-growing veterinary clinic and retail operation in Doha. We are actively modernizing our internal systems to streamline finances, inventory, and operations. We're seeking an experienced accountant who is also systems-oriented — someone who can manage day-to-day bookkeeping, while contributing to more structured, digital-first financial processes.
Role Overview
This role blends classic accounting responsibilities with a forward-looking mindset. You will manage books using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and help improve how our finance function works — including expense control, inventory integration, and vendor tracking. This is not a traditional paper-based accounting environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain complete and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Reconcile vendor statements, process invoices, and manage payables/receivables.
Work with the team to align our internal PMS (practice management system for retail, services, and medical sales) with accounting records.
Prepare and maintain WPS-based payroll entries.
Assist in tracking and validating inventory purchases, retail items, and clinical stock costs.
Help identify inefficiencies in current workflows and suggest practical, system-friendly improvements.
Support management with reporting, including monthly P&Ls, cash flow overviews, and margin tracking.
Tools You Will Use
QuickBooks Online (QBO) – Mandatory
Internal Practice Management System (PMS) – used for service and retail billing, stock intake, and purchase workflows
Microsoft Excel – Strong fluency expected
Microsoft 365 – Outlook, Teams, and file management
Minimum Requirements
5+ years professional experience in accounting or finance (Qatar experience preferred)
Valid QuickBooks Online Certification from Intuit ProAdvisor Program (must present upon application)
Strong command of Excel (pivot tables, structured sheets, formulas)
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Valid QID and NOC for local transfer
Preferred (Not Required)
Experience in veterinary, pharmacy, or healthcare-related accounting
Familiarity with digital inventory workflows or POS systems
Knowledge of accounting automation practices or workflow optimization
Able to identify inefficiencies and propose better digital workflows
