Planning Engineer (Mechanical)
Location: Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar
Contract Duration: 6–12 months (initially 6 months, extendable)

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain mechanical project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools
- Interpret mechanical engineering documents (P&IDs, isometrics, GA drawings) to support planning
- Monitor project progress, conduct critical path analysis, and manage resource allocation
- Identify schedule risks and propose corrective measures
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align planning activities
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly progress reports, schedule forecasts, and variance analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in mechanical planning engineering, ideally within EPC or oil & gas sectors
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and MS Office
- Strong analytical and communication skills in English
- Immediate availability
- Experience in Ras Laffan or similar industrial settings is advantageous
