Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Doctor (General Practitioner) to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care, diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, and prioritize the health and well-being of our patients.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine check-ups and physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments
- Request and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., blood work, imaging)
- Provide preventive care and health education to patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first-line care
- Stay current with medical developments, treatment protocols, and best practices
- Adhere to all medical ethics and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in Qatar
- Proven experience as a General Practitioner or similar role
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care
