Job Summary and Purpose
To carry out trouble shooting and repair of heavy mobile equipment. Provide advice and guidance to mechanics in troubleshooting and repair of heavy mobile equipment. Advise and report to Engineer on status and needs of equipment.
Accountabilities
1) Carry out fault finding of heavy mobile equipment (hands on)
2) Carry out repair of heavy mobile equipment (hands on) Carry out fault finding, repair and servicing of hydraulic components like pumps, valves, actuators, motors etc. (hands on).
3) Carry out fault finding, repair and servicing of hydraulic components like pumps, valves, actuators, motors etc. (hands on)
4) Carry out fault finding, repair and servicing of Diesel Engine (hands on)
5) Provide guidance and advise to mechanics in trouble shooting and repair of heavy mobile equipment.
6) Register the activities in the logbook and provide a daily report to the Engineer in charge.
7) Ensure compliance to quality management procedures and controls to deliver high quality services and products.
8) Requisition tools, equipment, and materials.
9) Inspect and care for tools and equipment.
10) Ensure that good housekeeping is maintained at the workplace.
11) Ensure that all safety procedures and regulations are complied with.
12) Promote safe working methods and prevent accidents.
13) Control the attendance and discipline of the workers under his supervision.
14) Perform any other assigned duties and responsibilities.
15) Employee should prioritize wellbeing of themselves and their colleagues while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. Adhere to all health & safety protocols, participate in wellbeing & wellness programs, and promptly report any concerns regarding the wellbeing of oneself & others in order to foster a culture of best practice.

Qualifications, Experience and Job Skills
Qualifications:
Certification from and HVAC program at trade school-Minimum 6 months program.
Experience:
• 1-4 years of related experience
• Experience in Maintenance and repair of HVAC, Chiller, Package unit, Window AC & Split AC in Facilities and added experience in Shipyards or related Marine industry.
• Knowledge of Fault-Finding techniques.
• Knowledge of HVAC Controls system.
• HVAC Compressor cooling system and Operation system.
• Mechanical and Electrical system
